Discipleship
Here at Stillwater, we believe a disciple of Christ is someone who longs to follow Christ (1 Cor. 11:1), live like Him (1 Jn. 2:6), and be formed into His image (Col. 3:10).
-
Formation Groups are Stillwater's primary means of discipleship where we are formed into the image of Christ through the Word, Spirit, and Accountability.

These are some of the ministries Stillwater has cultivated relationships with over the years. Want to get involved? Contact Ezra, ezra.smith@stillwaterchurch.org!
Isaiah 117 House
Isaiah 117 is a ministry focused on children in the foster system. They seek to provide a home for children in between homes or in periods of transition in the foster care system. There are opportunities to serve in this ministry directly with children or from afar with financial/material assistance.
LifeWise Academy
LifeWise Academy comes alongside administrators and teachers to support their mission of serving students, schools, and communities. Studies show that LifeWise programs improve student attendance and behavior, with educators recognizing the benefits and parents overwhelmingly recommending LifeWise.
Hope Rising
Hope Rising has a staff of experienced nurses, ultrasonographers, consultants, and volunteers committed to caring for women with compassion when facing unplanned pregnancies. They are devoted to helping you physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually as you move through this journey. They serve all clients without regard to age, race, income, nationality, religious affiliation, disability, or other arbitrary circumstances.
Simple Street Ministries
Simple Street is a ministry that seeks to meet the needs of the least of these both physically and spiritually through outreach projects here in the city of Dayton.
Target Dayton Ministries
Target Dayton is a non-profit that seeks to feed and save the poor/homeless. They provide meals and services multiple times throughout the week, where all are welcome. They encourage all who feel led to serve or support their ministry to do so through their app/website, where there is more information on how to do so.
Victory Project
Victory Project is an after-school program for boys to help mentor them into becoming young men. They do things like tutor, study Scripture, and feed the boys after school. They are always in need of volunteers to spend time with and mentor the boys at Victory Project.

As Christians, we’re called to serve—because faith without works is dead!
Join us for a day of service on Saturday, May 2, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. Everyone is welcome, and there will be meaningful projects and missions both inside and outside of the church.
You can join a service team, lead one, or sign up as a team with your formation group. We’ll wrap up the day with a community lunch and a worship service at the pavilion.
Sign up on Church Center, and reach out to Ezra Smith (ezra.smith@stillwaterchurch.org) with any questions.
